Set on the Northumberland coastline, this home in Amble is the ultimate retreat for anyone looking to break away from the hustle and bustle of city living. Take a fourteen-minute walk to Harbour Village where you’ll find artisan purveyors of arts, crafts, drinks, and gifts, and when you’ve finished shopping for souvenirs, point your feet in the direction of any of the seafood shacks for some of the freshest seafood around. Find your sea legs by hopping on a boat to Coquet Island, embarking from the harbour, and head a mile off coast to see a huge colony of seals and over thousands of nesting birds. Spend the rest of your time trying out sailing, canoeing, or kayaking, and if you're a fishing enthusiast, you’re encouraged to throw a line out at Amble North Pier. Back home, the shaker style kitchen is waiting for your recipes, but the counter is just as great for unwrapping takeaway fish and chips that you can enjoy under the statement lights at the dining table. After, kindle the wood-burning stove and sit back to watch your favourite movie with a cup of coffee, or collapse onto the plush carpeting to play a round, or two, of Monopoly.
